Construction Manager

Location: Solomon Island, Guadalcanal

Duration: 12 month renewable contract

Construction Manager is required to hold qualification according to EPC contract, Sch 13 key personnel.
Supervising civil activities, Supervising Subcontractor`s activities, discussion with owner`s engineer with reporting document for construction work and monitoring work related with construction.
Supervising construction(Civil) of Access road to Dam site/Powerhouse site including blasting work
Supervising earthwork such as road, deep excavation for hydro power facility and river excavation
Supervising concrete structure work and slope protection work
Monitoring, documentation and reporting Construction Works
Supervising local supervisors and subcontractor
Preparing reports related to construction works required from Employer
Reviewing construction implement plans and preparing detail construction implement plans including Method Statements.
Carrying out mitigation measures and recovery works with E&S team while construction works are underway
Collaborating with HSE team
Collaborating in preparing reports for the Employer with the other teams
Bachelor degree and majored in related field (Civil Engineering)
Experience
One or more projects involving construction of a roller-compacted concrete (RCC) dam (with minimum three (3) years of involvement)
Two or more projects involving construction of other types of dam (with minimum five (5) years of involvement)
Construction and design of dam (with minimum ten (10) years of involvement)
