GIS Technician
Environmental Remediation Project
Location: Kuwait, Site based position
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 months renewable contract (Long Term work)
Working Week: 6 days p/week – 48 hours p/week
(overtime available at Managers discretion)
Single Status Assignment only
Visa and Medical provided for candidate only
Rate and Allowances Paid in Local Kuwaiti Dinar
Rate: Negotiable
Accommodation: KWD 190 p/month (assistance is provided)
Transport: KWD 50 p/month
Home Leave: 30 days plus public holidays p/annum (100 days service before first home leave)
Home Leave: KWD 200 p/annum allowance for flights / luggage etc.
Position Overview
Reports to Project Engineer
Prepares Reports, updates mapping logs
Maintain GIS Database as per plans, standards and protocols
Solves most specialised related problems. Works under general supervision
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Diploma in Eng Computer Science or Information Technology
Minimum 8 years total experience
Minimum 3 years experience in related designation
Minimum 5 years experience in software for automation of the respective speciality
