Lead Mechanical & Piping Engineer
Iron Ore Mining Project
Location: Guinea, West Africa
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12 month renewable contract (approx 5 year project duration)
Salary: Negotiable
Rotation: 12 weeks / 16 days
Working Week: 60 hrs p/week

Fluent Mandarin / English language skills required
Main Responsibilities:
Mainly focus on the mining project.
Can develop the deliverables in CD and BD phase by itself, include but not limited.
User Requirement Specification
Equipment list and Equipment Layout
Process piping and Utilities piping routing layout.
Piping classification and Piping specification
Line list
Tie-in list
Valve list
Date sheet of equipment
BOQ
3D modelling for equipment and piping and so on
Space Management for chemical and/or fine chemical project
Value Engineering for process and piping and so on
Coordination and/or Management of LDI
Procurement support
Develop the scope of work.
Technical bidding Evaluation and report
Review the deliverables which submitted from LDI and check the GB code and URS compliance.
Site construction work Support as needed.
Familiar with not only Chinese regulation/GB code, but also international regulation.
Good construction drawing review and document reading, comprehension and writing skills.
At least 15 years or above solid professional background in on-site Engineering, Construction management.
Familiar with the construction management process and the major sticking points and key points of cooperation with other professions.
Familiar with the coordination of construction progress and on-site cross construction.
Good daily work habits of planning, reviewing plans, and controlling implementation.
Good skill on using Autocad, MS office365, MS project.
Good spoken English for job communication and technical interviews.
Candidates with Professional certification and international project experience are preferred.
